About Me

I am 27 years old and a computer science student at Technische Universität München. Before that, I went to school until 1999 in Ravensburg (Upper Swabia, near Lake Constance) and did a 13 months of community service (substituting military service) at a large institution for physically and/or mentally disabled persons.

My main interests besides computers and computer science are DTP, typography, the Web and especially HTML. A few sites I have built can be found on my projects page and at my co-founded small company P2 media design. Other than that, I sometimes play double bass, mainly in Ravensburg’s youth symphony orchestra.

My musical taste doesn’t follow usual classifications like genres (almost all of them contain some music that I like). I do have a “Last.fm” account though (and even happen to feed it from time to time), so you can quite conveniently get an idea of what I like (and what I don’t) there. On TV, I try not to miss Columbo, the Simpsons, Futurama, Dexter’s Laboratory, as well as German shows Harald Schmidt and Quer.
